The primary objective of GSAS is to create a sustainable built environment, considering the specific needs and context of the region. These goals align with Mosanada\u2019s goals for FM, and we are committed to train staff in GSAS, to collaborate with GORD, and to work with our customers to help Qatar achieve a more sustainable built environment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mosanada aims to accredit facilities under GSAS Operations. The GSAS Operations certification is intended to label the sustainability performance of buildings in use, regardless of whether these buildings are GSAS (design\/construction) certified or not. The GSAS Operations framework facilitates the auditing of the facility operations and tenants\u2019 operating practices to assess the energy, water, waste, and indoor environment performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote has-text-align-left has-background has-medium-font-size\" style=\"background-color: #e66445;\">\n<blockquote>\n<p>GORD Institute\u2019s research activities are inspired by the development of the Global Sustainability Assessment System (GSAS). The themes of research projects include carbon &#038; climate change, eco-materials, energy efficiency, environmental sciences, HVAC solutions, renewable energy and water resources &#038; technologies.
