We require a Landscape/Civils Engineer is required to join our SC2022 FIFA World Cup stadium team based at the Lusail Stadium site office from April 2019

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in Civil Engineering, Botany, Agriculture, Horticulture or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in landscape maintenance of large projects with a high concentration in facilities management experience e At least (3) years working in the Arabian Gulf Region

• Able to coordinate and monitor all disciplines of landscape works related to all FM Contracts.

• This includes site supervision of the Service Providers, Sub Service Providers

• Able to control Service Providers, Sub Service Providers in conformance with contract documents, drawings, and specifications. This includes working knowledge with local and international specifications

• Able to monitor progress of Works and carry out updating, planning and preparing progress reports as required by the SC

KEY TASK & RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Performing landscape operation design reviews

• Contribution to landscape maintenance scope development and supporting the Senior Engineer for the scope management of all landscape packages

• Must be capable of contributing to a program of integrated landscape works with multiple stakeholders and project partners

• Supporting the Senior Engineer for the management of the Landscape Service Providers performance and adherence to budget and schedule

• Reviews and/or prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other landscape documents as necessary

• Review & updating as-built drawings of all landscape related matters

• Assist in preparing RFP’S for service providers regarding all landscape packages

• Works with the Service providers to define workable landscape solutions as required for the maintenance & operation • Conducts periodic inspections to determine if landscape works have been done in accordance with contract specifications

• Assist the Senior Engineer in Preparing periodic special reports summarizing landscape issues related to maintenance activities for review and approval.

• Following up on instructions and commitments associated with the landscape maintenance approvals

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Assist Senior Engineer in providing information and updates on scheduled activities. Prompt

and courteous response to customer requests

• Be aware of parameters and conditions of achieving of Key Performance Indicators

• Maintenance and update of equipment and materials and ensure quality standards are

compatible and met

• Provides information and assist in preparation of site standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• Assist Senior Engineer to generate weekly and monthly reports

• Constant review and propose landscape operations efficiency’s, and assist department in

emergency planning and contingency planning

• Conduct daily operation pass-down meeting and update subordinates and contractors of

major works, project activities

• Submit work request and ensure work completion on time schedule

• Assist Senior Engineer in providing effective technical advice and solutions

• Assist in the Introduction of continued improvement and optimization operation of

landscaping systems

• Perform emergency support duty, if required

• Enforces and adopts safety measures among all subordinates and contractors

• To assist Senior Engineer in the Planning, coordinating and controlling all landscaping and

civils operational activities in accordance with pre-arranged operating plan and programs.

• Close monitor of daily information on CAFM database for all planned and reactive works in

relation to landscaping ad civils work

• Ensure successful completion of scheduled activities.

Senior SCADA Engineer (Energy Centre) for World Cup Stadiums FM O&M Project

We have an urgent requirement for Senior SCADA Engineer for our SC2022 FIFA World Cup Stadium O&M Project to be based at our stadium sites - long-term contract

         JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering with Major in Control Systems and Industrial Electronics

  • Experience: Minimum 8 years’ experience in O&M of various SCADA systems in District Cooling environment

  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Good knowledge of industry standards, international guidelines (like ISO, BS) and local government guidelines and best practices.

  • Team Player and able to manage technicians, and contractors.

  • Ability to manage budget for Preventive and corrective maintenance work

  • Self-motivated, Interpersonal, initiative, analytical thinking and good decision-making abilities.

  • Able to do precise report writing

     KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Fully proficient in the utilization of standard engineering theories and practices.

  • Experienced in the design of SCADA systems and should have worked on at least 1 project on implementing site wide SCADA associated with District Cooling and District Cooling plant components like: Chillers, Cooling towers, Pumps, RO (Reverse Osmosis), Plate Heat exchangers, Blowdown recovery system, Pre-insulated piping system, Thermal energy storage and SCADA systems.

  • Knowledge and application of all instrumentation related standards, codes and regulations; working knowledge of DCS, PLC and SCADA/HMI control system software, hardware and architecture.

  • Knowledge of profibus, Modbus, OPC & industrial Ethernet networks.

  • Knowledge of database & reporting tools.

  • Knowledge of fiber optics installations in the automation network.

  • Familiar with engineering documentation like Piping and Instrument Diagram, Hookup drawing, cable/JB/DCS schedule, I/O list etc.

  • Knowledgeable in erection, installation and commissioning of Flow meters, H2S Detectors, Pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, pressure switches, flow transmitters and other instruments connected with the District Cooling Plant.

  • Knowledge of SIEMENS, SCHNEIDER, Rockwell, Wonderware or similar PLC/SCADA preferred

  • Should be able to instruct and supervise a team of technicians in routine control loops checking, verification of chillers and pumps sequencing, verification and calibration of all instrumentation readings as part of Planned Preventive Maintenance as well as Corrective Maintenance. Should be well conversant in handling and maintaining calibration and test instruments that would be used in day to day operations and maintenance of the district cooling plant and associated SCADA systems.

  • Operate and maintain essential SCADA and control systems and components for electric power, distribution networks, large capacity chiller plants, cooling towers, pumps, thermal energy storage systems and other such equipment in a District Cooling Plant on a 24 x 7 basis.

We require a confident, competent and dynamic Facilities Management Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our SC2022 FIFA World Cup O&M Stadiums Project. The position is available ASAP
To be considered for shortlisting for interview for this position you must have a minimum of 8 years Quantity Surveying Experience, with a number of years experience directly related to Facilities Management and not solely from a construction or engineering background

Person Spec

·         A degree in Quantity Surveying is required. (Civil Engineering Degree - not acceptable if no QS degree)

·         MRICS or equivalent professional membership/qualification is desirable.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• HNC, Diploma / Degree holder (Desirable) in any discipline and/or professional certifications in Soft Services Disciplines such as Cleaning/housekeeping preferred.
BICS Accredited and BICS Trainer certification required
Minimum 5 years working experience in the provision of supervising cleaning, pest control and waste management services and cleaning of Building Operations (eg: Facade and roof cleaning), in environment (eg: open space), etc.
• Experience essential in providing cleaning and waste management services across large-scale events, with experience within the sporting venues highly desirable.
• Experience of supervising cleaning, pest and waste management contractor’s services including municipal waste collection services. Particular experience of auditing soft service suppliers is essential.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical discipline.

  • Minimum of 8 years working experience in HVAC, Mechanical and Plumbing systems

  • Good knowledge on operations and maintenance of pumping systems, air-compressors, air-dryers, vacuum pumps, calorifiers, Chillers, Air-Handling Units, Fan Coil Units, Precision Air-Conditioners, heat exchangers, pressurization systems, water filtration systems, water tanks, grease recovery system, mechanical and electrical hoists and fire systems such as sprinklers, hose reels, detection systems, pre-action sprinklers and FM200 etc. in accordance to the fire safety requirements. Design knowledge on pumps will be an advantage.

  • Excellent Project management Skills involving Developing a Project Plan, Manage Deliverables according to the plan, Lead and Manage the Project Team to achieve the Project Objectives.
