Senior Electrical Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer required for our ISF Project - immediate start. Must be able to supervise a team of Engineers and monitor all disciplines of electrical works related to all FM Contracts

Department: Operations and Maintenance
Reporting to: Senior FM Manager

Job Requirements:

Must be based in Qatar

  • JOB REQUIREMENTS:                                                                                                            

     

    • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from accredited university.

    • Minimum 10 – 15 years working experience as Senior Electrical Engineer .

    • Minimum 8 years experience working in reputable facility management company.

    • Solid capabilities of all electrical technicalities

    • Excellent understanding of all Electrical systems for building services & infra - structure .

    • Familiar to all electrical system , like Power Distribution , Switchgear ,lighting , Low Current Systems, etc.…….

    • Familiar to the international standards and codes such as IEC ,BS, NFPA, IEEE, NEC.

    • Excellent understanding of life safety equipment like fire alarm , Emergency lighting ,.etc.

    • Familiar to the electro - mechanical specifications

    • Managing monthly and weekly PPM schedule for all electrical systems and specialist systems

    • Onsite technical audits and produce performance reports

    • Self-motivated, Interpersonal, initiative, analytical thinking   

    • Strong capabilities of testing and commissioning

    • Excellent understanding of Handing over & DLP in general.

    • Manage , supervise and monitor FM service providers on daily basis

    • Good command of spoken and written English.

    • Good knowledge of ISO standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.

     KEY TASK & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

     

    • Ability to pass clear definitive instruction to their teams

    • Ability to work to clearly define objectives and to cultivate a one team approach ethos

    • KPI’s of the contract are met as a minimum.

    • Demonstrate problem solving skills

    • To deliver high quality, prompt and courteous Facilities Management services

    • To provide training, management and guidance to directly employed staff

    • Lead and overseeing the Operations team and service providers

    • Support the implementation of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)

    • Managing, planning, related to building operation and maintenance

    • Ensure good Client relationship and maintain customer satisfaction.

    • Improve working arrangement (technical) between Operations / Maintenance / Engineering.

     ACCOUNTABILITIES:

      

    • To act with confidence in energy and conflict situation

    • Prepare site standard operating procedures (SOPs)

    • Effective supervision

    • Strong monitoring and control of service providers

    • Experience in CAFM will be added value

The package is as follows:

Must be in Qatar to be considered for an interview

  • Basic Salary - Up to circa QR12,000 (Based on experience and current salary)

  • Accom – Free Company shared villa or Live-out Allowance provided

  • Transport to/from accommodation – (no allowance if live out)

  • Flight Allowance per month to home country

  • Medical Insurance coverage

  • Life Insurance coverage

  • NOC preferable if located in Qatar

  • Single status
