Commercial Administrator required for World Cup Stadium FM O&M project team

Commercial Administrator is required to join our Commercial team as part of the FIFA 2022 World Cup Stadium O&M project team. The position is live from January 2019

JOB REQUIREMENTS:                                                                                                               

  •  Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, finance, or related field preferred

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of purchasing processes, policy, and systems

  • Two years previous experience as commercial administrator, purchasing, or related position

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to negotiate, establish, and process contracts

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

  • Accurate and precise attention to detail

  • Able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment

     

KEY TASK & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Create and maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers

  • To implement long term and short term regional procurement strategies and that seek to reduce total cost of ownership.

  • Implement disciplined purchasing procedures, including formal contracts and tendering to meet company and legal requirements.

  • Manage internal purchasing process and the placing of orders with external suppliers where appropriate.

  • Work closely with internal customers on all matters relating to new and existing contracts.

  • Proactively seek out opportunities for the business to make immediate and long term cost savings.

  • Liaise with suppliers to understand market conditions and potential impact on pricing, addressing service issues and ensuring that the best possible deal is achieved.

  • Develop a reliable and efficient database of suppliers who provide good value across a wide range of company requirements.

  • To perform other duties as and when directed by the Management.

  • To meet or exceed Targets and KPI requirements set by senior management from time to time.

  • Provide periodic and ad hoc reports as required to agreed format and timing

  • Other subject related duties as appropriate and required

  • Strive for continuous improvement in commercial management competency

  • Perform emergency support duty, if required

  • Assist and support in the Operational execution according to the Contract Documents.
