Abdulrahman Al-Malki
Abdulrahman Al-Malki is an accomplished engineering and project management professional with over 22 years of experience delivering major infrastructure and sports facilities in Qatar. He currently serves as the Assistant Undersecretary for Sports Affairs at the Ministry of Sports and Youth, previously leading the Ministry’s Facilities & Projects Department and overseeing national sports infrastructure development.
He played a key role in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 as Director of Training Sites, ensuring full operational readiness of all training venues. Earlier, as Director of Engineering Projects at the Qatar Olympic Committee, he managed major developments including the Lusail Multipurpose Arena and Ali Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah Arena.
Abdulrahman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Qatar University and has completed extensive professional training in project management, risk assessment, and leadership.
