Alexander William Thomas, Senior Manager – Events, writes in about what the Events Team is up to. Despite restrictions put in place to manage operations surrounding COVID-19, the Mosanada Sports FM Events Team have been continually active preparing for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar™. With the responsibility to provide operations and management services for over 100 venues across Qatar during the tournament, the team have been developing workforce plans, carrying out training site and stadium familiarization and improving event management processes. The Operations Team is managing the day-to-day facility operations and providing planning and guidance for events as the Stadium Authority representative.
