Mosanada FMS was delighted to attend the GSAS Operations Gold Certificate award ceremony held at Al Janoub Stadium. The Plaque and Certificate were awarded by Dr. Yousef Alhorr (Founding Chairman, GORD) to Eng. Ghanim Al Kuwari (Deputy Director General Technical Services, SC). Mosanada FMS is the GSAS Operations Service Provider for the Operations certification and was represented in the event by Mark Cooke (Chief Executive Officer) and Martin Campbell (Director-Business Development). The MFMS Operations & Sustainability team were lauded for their efficient operations of the stadium and for contribution towards GSAS Operations Gold level achievement.

Despite restrictions put in place to manage operations surrounding COVID-19, the Mosanada Sports FM Events Team have been continually active preparing for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar™. With the responsibility to provide operations and management services for over 100 venues across Qatar during the tournament, the team have been developing workforce plans, carrying out training site and stadium familiarization and improving event management processes. The Operations Team is managing the day-to-day facility operations and providing planning and guidance for events as the Stadium Authority representative.

2020 IWFM FinalistRedefining the cool workplace In 2019, Khalifa International Stadium in Qatar was host to the IAAF World Athletics Championships. Mosanada were responsible for managing state of the art cooling technology that would make the event one that spectators could comfortably enjoy whilst athletes could break records. The Institute of Facilities and Workplace Management (IWFM) have judged this work of significant impact and have shortlisted Mosanada for an award in Workplace Experience (non-office/corporate environment) at the annual IWFM Award Ceremony. We would like to thank our customer, Aspire Logistics, the team at Khalifa International stadium, and all their colleagues across Mosanada for their support in this prestigious competition.

Mosanada is committed to being industry leading. We always strive to achieve the highest expectations when it comes to our contractors delivering the Cleaning and Janitorial services to our ever-increasing list of clients. All Soft Service staff within Mosanada FMS are trained through our British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) portfolio of units, so we can implement, observe, and ensure the quality output from our service partners to all clients. Mosanada FMS have successfully been reaccredited as a BICSc assessment Centre for the 3rd consecutive year while providing an overview of site Term Contractors in sites throughout Qatar.

Mazhar Kolassery (Systems Support Specialist) visited ‘Child Homes in Goa’ (India) and delivered IT equipment donated by Mosanada such as Laptops, a projector, and books. Mazhar said about his experience: I had a medley of emotions flowing through my body. Thankful to have a family. My wife & I visited the orphanage with the gifts given by Mosanada. We met kids of 4-16 year olds in 3 homes. That feeling that we had when we saw these kids who got all excited and become insanely happy just by looking at us visit them. That feeling is magical. We brought with us 3 Laptops, one projector, and books donated by Mosanada. That moment when they all screamed “Thank you!” was insane. Mosanada FMS as the leading Facilities Management company proudly announces that Mosanada is now a GORD Accredited GSAS Service Provider in Qatar. The Global Sustainability Assessment System (GSAS) is the first performance-based system in the MENA region, developed for rating buildings and infrastructure with respect to sustainability. The primary objective of GSAS is to create a sustainable built environment, considering the specific needs and context of the region. These goals align with Mosanada’s goals for FM, and we are committed to train staff in GSAS, to collaborate with GORD, and to work with our customers to help Qatar achieve a more sustainable built environment. Mosanada aims to accredit facilities under GSAS Operations. The GSAS Operations certification is intended to label the sustainability performance of buildings in use, regardless of whether these buildings are GSAS (design/construction) certified or not. Mosanada Wins Cricket Tournament
After qualifying for the 2017 finals of the Qatar Cricket Association tournament and beating Al-Khor Community team with 10 wickets in the Semi-final, the Mosanada Cricket Club took out the Division C Final against the Qatar Super Kings. Victory was secured by 126 runs in 18 overs & 5 wickets for Mosanada vs 125 runs for 9 wickets in 18 Overs for the Super Kings. The match took place in Asia Town International Cricket Stadium on the 21st of December 2017. Champion trophy presented by Qatar Cricket Association domestic head to Division C winners Mosanda Cricket Club, captained by Ahmer Khan.
