Mosanada wins at Qatar Sustainability Awards

To mark Qatar Sustainability Week 2017, Mosanada will be giving back to the community in two additional ways. Both of these initiatives were suggested by our staff and reflect our believe that small actions contribute to the wider range of initiatives encouraged by the Qatar Green Building Council. Our sustainability professionals will be giving talks at school assemblies on the importance of environmental conservation and simple things that can be done to look after our environment.We will be organising a clothing donation drive to collect underused clothing for subsequent donation to Qatar Charity. Re-using clothes avoids waste and consumption of new clothes.Should you wish to donate clothing, you can drop by our Gharaffa Accommodation Compound near Al Gharrafa Stadium (See map below). Katara Cultural Village Foundation signs on with Mosanada

Mosanada Facilities Management Services on Tuesday signed an ambitious 5-year Facilities Management (FM) contract with Katara Cultural Village Foundation during a ceremony attended by top officials from both organizations. Mosanada Presents at FMQ 2014

Mosanada recently participated in the 2014 Facilities Management Qatar conference (FMQ). Adam Wood (Senior Manager – Beyond Green) delivered a talk about the formulation of sustainability plans for large organizations. Key Points included: Strategy starts with 3-5 ‘high level’ objectives and SMART targets. Sustainability Strategy requires level endorsement – Board level expectations should be communicated to relevant staff. Consultants and contractors must be kept accountable.   Project Tips: High-level strategy must be resourced by an allocated budget. Strategically design projects to achieve specific targets. Decisions should be based on modelling. Encourage partners to have ‘skin in the game’ and demonstrate results were achieved. Incorporate sustainability into existing business processes.
